About Me
I was born on an Army base and I went off to college with my parents still in the military. I received my bachelors degree in Business Marketing and worked on my masters degree at Texas Christian University. I was married in Texas and have two daughters that were born and raised there. They pursued careers here in California and we followed them. I am so thrilled to live and be involved in real estate in the Antelope Valley. Having moved my whole life, I understand the value and joy of homeownership and family life.Julie Barnett

It's fall y'all and we are ready for it! With all of our new friends comes projects to complete, so that we are all set for winter. The family even built a brand new fence following my several impressive escapes, but I am up for the challenge. I am sure you know this by now, but we are very well taken care of [some may even call us spoiled].

I mean, I am sitting in an Adirondack chair right this minute enjoying the sunshine and chilly breeze. The chickens have settled in nicely as well and enjoying all the new space. They run around with sheer joy! The pups are also getting bigger, though they are still little troublemakers. Oh, the mischief of youth! Every good wish, -Ruthie

Hello darlings! We’ve missed you. Our mom broke her arm earlier this year but we’ve been gentle with her. It’s summertime now and we have added numerous new friends to the farm. Two new puppy sisters have joined the girls club.

Oh, how I love the fall! The weather is starting to cool down in the evenings here in the AV and I just adore it. I love October! It starts to bring about feelings of exciting anticipation around something new. Let the festivities commence! What a great month. Bring out the pumpkins and the hay bales, I say. I think our humans should do a whole set up right here in our yard...

Oh, have I got a story for y’all! Like I mentioned before, I am a bit of a Houdini and oh boy, have I been putting on a show! I have found a way to bend the fence that runs along and through the grape vines and use it as a springboard to capitulate myself onto the other side of the yard! Woohoo! ...

My family has tried to block my pathways, but I persevere and continue to find another way. I plan on continuing this performance and I think I may need a superhero cape to add to the flash! What do you think? Always remember to keep learning and growing! Don’t let obstacles hold you back. Every good wish, -Ruthie

Hi Everyone! You've now heard from all three of us gals. How great is that?! Well since last we spoke, you won't believe this, but the family has blocked me from the blackberry bushes. Can you imagine? To be truthful they probably made a good call because I just couldn't contain myself. I wasn't even able to wait until the berries were fully formed before taking a bite out of the leaves and flowers...

Hi fans! I’m Etta, the baby of the three but it must be said that I am the tallest! My sisters, Jane and Ruthie, are very independent but I love when we’re all together and having fun. There are many things to play with in our home and I love to be at the center of it all! Sometimes my mom puts scarves and ribbons on me. Dress up is just the best! I’m very vocal about that. You can ask the neighbors. Despite all of the nature to explore and toys to play with, my favorite part of the day is...
June Newsletter 2021
Hi team! I’m Ruthie, Jane and Etta’s sister. Like she mentioned in the last newsletter, we are Nigerian Dwarf goats and just turned two-years-old in February of this year. Why don’t I start with a little about me? I am the athlete of the family! I can run fast and jump high! You could call me a bit of a notorious escape artist. My mom thought she put up enough fencing near the grapevines here in the AV to keep me out, but nothing can stop me from getting those delectable leaves!...

Though I am the littlest of the 3 of us, I never back down from rough housing or any type of adventure. I am curious about everything, just like Lasso says! (If you haven’t watched the show, Ted Lasso on Apple TV, you are missing out!) #futbolislife #beagoldfish Every good wish, - Ruthie

Hi everyone! I’m Jane, a two-year-old Nigerian Dwarf goat. My sisters (Ruthie and Etta) and I are so excited to share with you some snippets of our lives here in the Antelope Valley and I get to go first! So a little about me, well, I packed on quite a few extra pounds during 2020. The stress of a global pandemic really got to me, but I have decided to love myself just the way I am, because guess what, I am the G.O.A.T. ...

Last weekend, my human siblings came to visit and planted so many scrumptious things in the garden, I can’t wait to sneak little bites when they aren’t here. Don’t tell, but I am able to get up on my hind legs and reach the black berries bush they planted last year. They are so delicious and I just can’t help myself! Yours, etc. - Jane
